After a year and two months of composing music here on Newgrounds, I've had it beat into me that Newgrounds was an awful place to submit music. Even the top musicians here acknowledge it, and only out of pure luck have they gotten to the top. With my last release "exploring the cavern of ice", I had gotten over one hundred listens over night. Four point five out of five, and 3 great reviews. When I got from school today, I had gotten zero-bombed, never to rise again. I could have gotten my moment in the spotlight of top five, if I had had good enough luck to avoid zero-bombing.

Over the course of the last month or two, I have been making connections to established composers and musicians. It's no longer necessary that I submit my tracks through the creative commons, because my work is getting to the point where it could be sold for profit.

As much as I would like to help out with creative commons music, Newgrounds takes my hard work and throws it down the tubes. I still have all my Reason patches in my profile, which counts for something I'm sure. I'll still be participating in the forums and PM system, but I can't submit my tracks here anymore. Sorry to the amount of people who enjoyed my work, and thanks to the people via BBS who helped me with technical issues. I'll still be submitting demos and tracks that I don't want to release.

You are a great musician and no amount of 0's can determine that, but at the end of the day, sometimes a couple of douchebags is all it takes :S

I was a fan and I expecially (cant spell that right!) loved your track Fighting On (Hardstyle)

Whatever you do, dont give up creating music all over, its a waste of good talent. Try to find another website that will accept your music.

Its' not like I hate NG, I just don't want to submit my tracks here anymore. Thanks a ton for the encouragement.

Oh, and just to let you know, the link to your Reason patches through mediafire. "0 items found to display!" Your should fix it :)

Yeah I don't think I'm going to get it up and running anytime soon, it's doing that no matter how many times I relink.

Thanks for the kind words, I'll be uploading my best tracks on iTunes or Napster (of course they will be only like 50 cents a pop).

The audio portal still leaves alot to be desired no doubt about it, it definately is disheartening and tough towin the affection of the ng audience, particularly when theres darker users around and you happen to fall under their crosshairs. My advice is to just let that build character, as opposed to getting frusterated with it. You obviously are appealing to some folks, why let a few immature ones ruin your day? Also you may consider a new username that feels like you want to be taken more seriously. You have to figure that the bulk of the site has young 13 yr old boys running thru its veins, you dont really want to appear like youre just as immature as them

Just keeping the files to myself, and distributing locally. Hopefully I'll find a good place to submit by christmas.

I myself have had problems with the LL, UU and CC and have found some ways to keep them at bay
